The iFTI resumed the Master Instructor Capstone class in December 2023 with six instructors enrolled and four graduates in April 2024. The course requires participants to develop a full instructional plan on a relevant topic, with independent work supported by Capstone instructors: Alice Gwinn and Lisa Berlin of the iFTI Curriculum Department with the guidance of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Tom Pfundstein.
After 16 weeks, students return to Hanover to present their projects to the class and guests, including the COE Advisory Committee members. The course is offered twice per year to eligible instructors.
The Capstone projects showcase the practical application of instructional design principles, creating effective learning experiences that enhance member performance and productivity.
Candidates dedicated significant time and effort to creating instructional units that address identified needs, demonstrating their skills in instructional design and teaching techniques honed throughout the iFTI Associate and Master Instructor programs.
We commend the following iFTI Master Instructor graduates for their hard work and achievements, and acknowledge the support and guidance provided by their peers, advisors, and Directors of Training throughout their Capstone journey.
