Building Union Power Curriculum Updates
GP Williams is leading a powerful campaign to reinforce our union’s strength through education and engagement, upholding the IUPAT’s core values of “One Union, One Family, One Fight.” This initiative is designed to empower members by deepening their understanding of our shared mission and build a stronger, more united union.
Since the campaign launched, the curriculum has seen several updates:
- Five versions of the course – Train-the-Trainer, Membership, Leadership, Apprentices, and Stewards
- Translations in English, French, and Spanish versions. We are currently reviewing the Portuguese versions for DC 35.
- Addition of Public Sector slides for DC 78
- New Handouts – Words and Terms and Building Union Power QR Codes to increase member engagement
- New Course for Phase 2 – FTI 1274 Internal Organizing TTT
If you are teaching the course or uploading completions, use the correct Building Union Power Course Codes and training resources. To ensure you are using the updated versions, sign on to you iFTI LMS accounts.
