A New Tool to Communicate in Training and the Field
Communication is key to growing our union and developing the best trained workforce in the field. Unfortunately, the language barrier can sometimes slow a good line of communication. One of the solutions the iFTI is putting forward is a handheld device that translates 39 languages in real time – the Timekettle T1 Mini Translator. These units are already being deployed in the field to trainers and DC representatives. The goal is to open an immediate and more effective dialogue between us and current and prospective members.
