The next time you visit the iFTI Training Center, be sure to look around to see our new, bold Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG) along the hallway walls! Newly added graphics feature the logos for our Health and Safety and IUPAT Helping Hand programs, as well as a reminder that we are stronger together – IUPAT’s One Union. One Family. One Fight.
Every training center classroom now includes SEG displays of the iFTI Mission and Purpose statements in Spanish, reflecting our commitment to inclusion and communication across our diverse workforce.
We are also proud to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our iFTI instructors who have successfully completed the COE-Accredited iFTI Instructor Training Program. Those who reach the pinnacle of this program – becoming Master Instructor CAPSTONE graduates – will have their names engraved on a plate on a plaque in the iFTI lobby, a tribute to their hard work and dedication to educating our tradesmen and women.
Above the Graduate plaque are certificates for the COE Accredited iFTI Instructional Service Centers (ISC): the FTI of Mid Atlantic, North Central Illinois FTI, Northern California DC16 Journeyman Training Trust Fund (Las Vegas), and the FTI of the Upper Midwest. These ISCs expand the iFTI’s training and education into local areas, ensuring accessibility, consistency, credibility and the same high-quality of training provided in Hanover, Maryland.
