FTI 1133 Introduction to Chemical and Physical Properties of Hazardous Materials TTT 12172020
December 17 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST
This course presents the basics of chemical and physical properties of hazardous materials, including basic chemistry concepts. The course will develop a solid foundation of understanding as to how chemicals behave in the environment, and how that information affects worker health and safety.
This will be useful for trainers who teach curricula where hazardous materials are discussed, such as Hazcom, exposure to Highly Toxic Chemicals (e.g. lead, asbestos, pcbs) or basic apprenticeship courses where chemicals are a part of that course such as mixing coatings, degreasing of surfaces, etc.
