On September 11, 2023, the iFTI hosted the annual Occupational Advisory Committee Meeting at iFTI in Hanover, Maryland. During the meetings, the OAC committee members, various regional DoT representatives, and iFTI Curriculum Staff reviewed the COE-accredited programs of Associate Instructor and Master Instructor. The purpose was to guarantee the continued success of each program by evaluating the instructional outcomes of each program, and confirming that current instructional practices are employed in the programs. Other agenda items discussed as required by COE include a review and possible revision of iFTI plans such as the Strategic Plan, the Physical Facilities and Technical Infrastructure Plan, the Equipment Plan, and the Health and Safety Plan. The next Occupational Advisory Committee meeting will occur in the fall of 2024.
