Grassroots organizing is needed now more than ever before. Far too many people are withstanding the worst of serious social problems. For example, homelessness, violence, drug abuse, and poverty have increased dramatically in recent years. Politics in the United States centers on the question of power – who is in control, what policies they pursue, and on behalf of which constituencies. The attack on working families and Unions are at an all-time high. This course will enable you to make real changes in your community, for your members, and for the labor movement as a whole.

Prerequisite: Leadership Series Completion or a minimum of 4 Core Leadership Series Courses
