DESCRIPTION:8hrs \nWithin the trades\, mentorship is emerging as one of the most critical elements in workforce development. This two-day Mentorship Matters™ Train-the-Trainer program is divided into two separate workshops – Six Steps to Mentoring (4hrs) and Six Skills for Apprentices (4hrs) and will provide the tools to effectively deliver this program. The goal of these training sessions is to maximize effectiveness of communication and skill transfer between the new worker\, and the mentor. \nENROLL NOW: Ask your DOT to complete the DOT Request – Training Registration Form. You can fill out the Instructor/Coordinator Training Registration Form but the request will be forwarded to your DOT for approval.
