DESCRIPTION:32 Hours \nUpon successful completion of the classroom training the participant will be able to pass a written examination demonstrating comprehension of the basic selection\, inspection and safe use of fall protections systems and materials when in accordance with Federal OSHA Laws and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) EM385. They will have been trained\, tested and understand the following: \n\nRecognizing potential risks and worksite hazards for workers using fall protection and understands the appropriate actions to take.\nUnderstand and be able to demonstrate the federal laws and basic safety rules when utilizing fall protection systems.\nUnderstand the proper and safe use of the fall protection systems covered in this course.\nUnderstand the selection\, inspection\, ratings\, rejection criteria and proper safe use fall protection systems when using Aerial Work Platforms\, Mobile\, Overhead and/or Tower Cranes\, of Forklift trucks to hoist personnel.\n\n(Certification Period: Permanent) \nPrerequisite: None \nENROLL NOW: Ask your DOT to complete the DOT Request – Training Registration Form. You can fill out the Instructor/Coordinator Training Registration Form but the request will be forwarded to your DOT for approval.
