DESCRIPTION:24 hours \nThe health and safety symposium is bringing together iFTI instructors who teach health and safety courses\, coordinators\,  and others who are interested in learning from each other and elevating the health and safety of IUPAT members by sharing experiences and knowledge\, discussing the implications of model health and safety programs and training\, while also learning from industry experts regarding OSHA regulations\, adult-centered health and safety training concepts\, environmental concerns\, partnerships and resources to advance IUPAT member health and safety and learning about some of the latest occupational health and safety research affecting our members. \nVarious speakers will presenting during the three-day event covering topics on:\n\n\nOSHA safety\nFederal Osha guidelines\nSolving environmental concerns\nInfrastructure and Labor Unions\nOccupational Health\n\n\nWho should attend this event?\nTrainers who:\n\n\nare enthusiastic about learning about the latest H&S topics\ncurrently teach H&S frequently or want to\nwould be considered as the first Point of contact to handle H&S questions at your local\n\nPrerequisite: None \nENROLL NOW: Ask your DOT to complete the DOT Request – Training Registration Form. You can fill out the Instructor/Coordinator Training Registration Form but the request will be forwarded to your DOT for approval.
