DESCRIPTION:3hrs \nParticipants will gain an understanding of different aspects of respiratory protection through facilitated lecture\, discussion and small group activities. Topics will include: respiratory protection programs\, what respirators are and why you need them for work\, how to properly don/doff respirators\, cleaning maintenance and storage. Additionally\, Federal regulations and best practices will be discussed along with a deeper exploration of different technical aspects of respiratory protection including\, how they work and how to ensure you have the correct one for your work conditions. The course will use practical resources such as the NIOSH respirator decision logic and techniques such as calculating maximum use concentrations. \n  \nENROLL NOW: Ask your DOT to complete the DOT Request – Training Registration Form. You can fill out the Instructor/Coordinator Training Registration Form but the request will be forwarded to your DOT for approval.
