DESCRIPTION:3hrs \nPrerequisite: None \nThis class will give instructors a better understanding of the harmful aspects of lead\, and increase their understanding of its impact on workers in both general industry and construction trades.   These benefits can be applied to courses instructors teach that may contain the topic of lead. \nThis is a lead awareness course that contains a closer look at its prevalence in the work and public environments.  It will also present a toxicological profile of lead\, increasing participants understanding of why they should avoid exposure.   The course will review pertinent worker protections through a review of the general industry and construction standards\, and present an example lead control plan for work on superstructures. \nENROLL NOW: Ask your DOT to complete the DOT Request – Training Registration Form. You can fill out the Instructor/Coordinator Training Registration Form but the request will be forwarded to your DOT for approval.
